Strong partnership with families and friends is very important to every child's learning and development at Mary Rose. Parents and carers have the most powerful influence on their child's development and we hope you will work with us to support your child and the school to make the most of all the opportunities that are available.
Our Senior Family Support & Community Engagement Practitioners (otherwise known as our Family Support Workers), Nicky and Shelley are available to help all families across all campuses, with Nicky supporting families of pupils with PMLD and Complex Medical Profiles, and Shelley with families of pupils with SLD and Autism profiles.
The Family Support Team can help with any enquiry, offering both emotional and practical support to families, and signposting to external agencies if we cannot help in house.
The team work closely with professionals from outside organisations such as CAMHS, Health, Therapists and Early Help and Social Care as part of a multi-disciplinary approach to best support families.
